Aaron Hughes (NYI President)
In 2000, Aaron’s best friend led him to the Church of the Nazarene in Skowhegan where he asked Christ to be his personal Lord and Savior. Since then Aaron has been called to serve in the local church in various capacities as the Lord as led him. He has felt God calling him to preach. He holds his local ministers license in Skowhegan, and is now taking ministry class to prepare for what God has planned for his life. He currently teaches the teen class on Sunday mornings and plays bass guitar on the worship team. Aaron believes Christ to be the corner stone in his life. He has great passion and zeal for Gods written word.
Aaron is a cutter operator at J.S. McCarthy Printers in Augusta. Aaron has been married to Mary since 2005; they have one daughter with another baby on the way!
Aaron enjoys playing music, spending time with his family (both church and immediate) and loves hunting; fishing and all things outdoors!
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth.19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matt 28:18-20 (NLT)
